Atlanta, Georgia’s Connor Hinkes has verbally committed to swim for the University of Notre Dame in the class of 2024. A senior at Westminster Preparatory School, he is a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American who swims year-round with SwimAtlanta and specializes in sprint free. He anchored the winning 200 medley relay (19.73) and led off the state-champion 400 free relay (45.86), as well.

Hinkes competed with SwimAtlanta at 2019 Winter Juniors East, swimming the 50/100 free individual events and contributing to the winning 200 free relay (19.98). He also swam on SwimAltanta “B” relays for the 4×100 free and 4×50 medley. At Southern Premier in March, he placed 4th in the 50 free, 14th in the 100 free, and 32nd in the 100 fly, earning a PB in the fly.

Top SCY times:

  • 50 free – 20.27
  • 100 free – 46.24

He will join a training group that includes Topher Stensby, Cason Wilburn, Alec Delong, Liam Hutchinson, Jack Hoagland, and Max Miranda. bruh goes 19.7 split free and you don’t think he could go better than 24? His :52 fly was led off with :24.00 so that’s already better than your 24.1 with a flat start and being lead off…never heard of this kid but do 4 minutes of research and think a little and you’ll find something a little different
