Futures Breaststroking Champion Brian Ramsey Verbals to Pitt

Brian Ramsey of Mount Lebanon Aquatic Club and Mt. Lebanon High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania has given his verbal commitment to the University of PIttsburgh for the 2016-17 season. Ramsey is a breaststroke and IM specialist who finished in the top 10 in each discipline at the 2015 EZ Southern Region Speedo Championship Series. Ramsey earned 5th in the 100 breaststroke, 8th in the 200 breaststroke and 10th in the 200 IM at the meet. On the high school scene, Ramsey was the 7th-place finisher in the 100y breaststroke at the 2015 Pennsylvania PIAA AAA Championships.

Ramsey’s best times are as follows:

Both of Ramsey’s long course breaststroke times clear the U.S. Open qualifying time standard.  Ramsey clocked all three marks 2015 Futures Meet in Greensboro, NC, resulting in a 2nd place finish in the 100m breaststroke and 1st place finish in the 200m breaststroke overall.
