About the coaches

Jeff Pearson (Boost Swimming): Boost Swimming was created by Coach Jeff Pearson after a 20 year career working with some of the world’s best swimmers. Jeff’s elite team coaching culminated with two of his developmental athletes going on to win medals in the 2012 Olympic Games. Previous to that, Jeff was a two time USA National Open Water Swimming Champion and USA National Team Member. Today, he is extremely passionate about making that experience and knowledge available to adult and youth athletes alike. With a large tool box developed over a lifetime of swimming and coaching experience, Jeff has a proven system of developing the skills necessary to help each athlete reach their swimming potential.

Deniz Hekmati (Swimmer’s Strength): Swimmer Strength’s mission is to create awareness that swimming is a unique sport and that application of strength training for swimmers is difficult. By providing high quality and comprehensive information to educate and motivate the world of swimming, the goal is to help coaches, swimmers, and parents to gain a better understanding of strength training for this extraordinary sport. Together with new ideas of training with a main emphasis on total body integration, core stability, mobility, injury prevention, and increased power output, Swimmer Strength want to assist the world in creating more efficient and safe dryland- and resistance training programs. Nick Folker (Folker Aquatic Strength & Speed Training — F.A.S.S.T: FASST swimming programs have been honed and polished from over a decade of coaching and many, many, many hours of chasing a tiled black line along the bottom of countless pools worldwide. The backbone of the FASST training system is the focus on individual progression and injury prevention. No two swimmers are the same, therefore, no two workouts or progressions should be the same. No matter the athlete or background, FASST has no place for excuses, only effort. What you put in is what you get out.
