FAST’s Isaac Stump Sends Verbal Commitment to Arizona Wildcats

Isaac Stump of the Flying Fish Arizona Swim Team has joined the University of Arizona class of 2021.

Stump’s SCY times don’t particularly jump out right away, but his big time drops over the summer suggest that he’ll find more to drop in yards this winter/spring. He dropped from 4:14 to 3:59 in the 400 free, and then 1:55.4 to 1:53.9 in the 200 free from 2015 to 2016.

Additionally, he lopped about five seconds off of his 200 IM and a whopping 12+ seconds in his 400 IM from summer ’15 to summer ’16.

It’s looking as though mid-distance free and IM will be Stump’s focus when he gets to Arizona. The Wildcat men have been off to a slow start with recruiting, though dynamic IM’er Sam Iida of Illinois will join Stump in the Wildcat class of 2021.
