Entries for U.S. Olympic Trials “Pick ‘Em” Contest, Presented by Tyr

SwimSwam is running two Pick ‘Em contests; this one is presented by TYR and rewards you for picking the swimmers who place first through fourth (and through sixth for the 100/200 frees) in each event. The rules for the Pick ‘Em contest are outlined here.

Scoring

Correctly picking a swimmer to place:

  • 1st – 7 points
  • 2nd – 5 points
  • 3rd – 4 points
  • 4th – 3 points
  • 5th place – 1 point (100/200 frees only)
  • 6th place – 1 point (100/200 frees only)

For this contest, if you correctly pick 1st AND 2nd place (aka the two Olympians in the event), in the right order, you will receive 1 bonus point.

The tie-breaker for prizes, if necessary, will be the most correctly-picked winners, then 2nd-place finishers, then 3rd-place finishers, etc. in the relevant time period.

This year we’ll be tracking the scoring every night on a big board at SwimSwam’s official Omaha HQ – Local Beer, Patio, and Kitchen.

Thanks so much for sponsoring such a fun contest! Is there a way to track how well (or not) we are doing if we aren’t actually in Omaha and able to check at Local? Thanks!
