How To Eliminate Chlorine From Hair and Skin After Swimming

FROM DR. ANDREW CHADEAYNE, INVENTOR OF SWIMSPRAY

How do you eliminate chlorine from hair and skin after swimming?  Use SwimSpray.  How do you use SwimSpray?  Watch this video:

We made this simple 30 second video to show how to eliminate chlorine after swimming.  Despite our written and illustrated instructions, we still get lots of questions about how to use SwimSpray.  Here are the instructions for washing chlorine out of hair and skin:

1.Rinse off the pool water.

2.Spray SwimSpray on your hair and skin.

3.Use your favorite shower products (shampoo, body wash, conditioner, etc.).

Sounds easy.  Looks easy.  Just use SwimSpray in the shower.  Use it with your favorite shampoo or body wash.  You will know it’s working because the lingering chlorine odor goes away immediately.  No more smelling like chlorine after swimming.

Hopefully this how-to-use video makes the instructions even clearer.

SwimSpray, LLC is grateful to Fares Ksebati, Lowell Byers, and Cydney Biessel for their work on the video.  Fares, our summer marketing intern, is a masters swimmer, former swimmer at Wayne State, and coach of the Grosse Pointe Gators.  These days, Fares works as a fellow at Challenge Detroit.  Fares also casted his friend Cydney Biessel from Wayne State in the video.

Lowell Byers provided the sexy voice that describes how to eliminate chlorine after swimming.  Lowell swam at the Boys’ and Girls’ Club of Northern Westchester with SwimSpray’s President, Andrew Chadeayne.  Now Lowell is an actor and writer.  In August, Lowell’s play Luft Gangster premiered at the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre in New York City.  Lowell also did the voice work for SwimSpray’s “Chlorine Laboratory” video.

We hope that this video makes it easy to understand how SwimSpray works.  Despite challenges teaching people how to use SwimSpray, we kept the product all-natural, without fragrances, surfactants, or additives.  As a result, SwimSpray does not provide it’s own lather.  Accordingly, swimmers can use SwimSpray with their favorite shower products.

This video should also answer the age-old question of “what is the best swimmers’ shampoo?”  The answer is “any shampoo” . . . just be sure to use it with SwimSpray.

About SwimSpray

SwimSpray was invented by Dr. Andrew Chadeayne, a former Princeton University swimmer and chemistry Ph.D. from Cornell University. Tired of smelling like chlorine after his swimming workouts, Andrew set out remove chlorine from hair and skin ( SwimSpray works where so many other chlorine removal products (e.g., swimmers’ shampoos) have failed previously because SwimSpray’s all-natural vitamin C based formula breaks this bond, neutralizing the chlorine, and allowing it to be washed away with your favorite soap or shampoo. Follow him on Twitter @swimspray and fan him Facebook.

SwimSpray is a SwimSwam partner.
