Cooper Womack, a current high school senior from Prattville, Alabama, has committed to swim for Division II Delta State University. Womack will graduate from high school in spring 2021 join the Statesmen’s class of 2025.
Womack is a current swimmer for the Prattville YMCA. At the 2019 Southeastern Swimming Short Course Championships, he placed 6th in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:43.50.

At the 2020 New South Intercollegiate Championships with the Statesmen, Womack would have had multiple finals performances. Most notably, he would have placed 6th in the 500 freestyle (4:43.44), 7th in the 1650 freestyle (16:31.18) and 15th in the 200 freestyle (1:45.38) with his current best times.
His time in the 500 freestyle would have made him the 3rd fastest Statesmen in that event at the championships.
At this meet, the Delta men were conference champions under head coach Dan’l Murray. The team won by nearly 400 points.
