Finals of the Georgia Last Chance Meet saw a couple more swimmers improve their standing for an NCAA invite, most notably North Carolina’s Megan Bestor.
Georgia’s Nicole Vernon shot from from 45th in the nation to 19th with a huge 400 IM that should guarantee her an NCAA invite.
Florida freshman Caeleb Dressel took his first really solid rested crack at a 200 IM on Friday, and the result was fairly impressive.
Coach Troy: “Those who are not yet qualified for the NCAA meet have a great fast facility for their best opportunity. Those who raced last week can use this week to address changes and technical improvements from last week in a race environment on last time before the NCAA Championships.”
