Coach’s Log: Dressel’s Coach Jason Calanog

Jason Calanog is the Head Late Night Coach of the Bolles School Sharks. His most well known swimmer is the top recruit in the class of 2014, Caeleb Dressel. In this interview with Garrett McCaffrey, Jason talks about his star swimmer including how fast he could go at the Florida State High School Championships and what schools he’s interested in attending next fall. They also discuss the training cycle that Coach Calanog does with the Late Night Group at Bolles, including this set that they did last week:

As a Kredich fan, I’d love to see what he’d do with a truly elite men’s recruit like Dressel. It would also team him up with his aussie rival from Jr Worlds this summer.
