Club Wolverine’s Emma Cleason Stays Put; Gives Verbal to Michigan

Emma Cleason has announced via her Twitter account that she has verbally committed to swim for the University of Michigan beginning with the 2017-18 season.

Cleason is a senior at Skyline High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is the defending MHSAA Division I champion in the 200 IM (2:01.51) and the fourth-place finisher in the 100 fly (55.89). In addition, she led off Sykline’s 400 free relay (51.56) as well as the medley relay (26.02), contributing significantly to Skyline’s team title at the 2015 Division 1 Girl’s State Meet.

Cleason also swims for Club Wolverine. She had a successful long course campaign this past summer, earning lifetime bests in most of her top events at Columbus Sectionals in July. Cleason’s best times are:
