Cavazos, Fodor, Hevesi Net 6-Goal Efforts on Water Polo Week 12

As all six collegiate men’s water polo conference crowned tournament champions, a trio of six-goal efforts led the week’s scoring.

#13 Loyola Marymount got six goals from Joseph Cavazos as the team topped Concordia (Irvine) 21-10 in the Western Water Polo Association fifth place match.

Wagner’s Oliver Fodor put in six scores in the Seahawks’ 14-11 win over Johns Hopkins in the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference fifth place match.

St. Francis Brooklyn’s Dominick Hevesi notched six goals in a losing effort as the Terriers fell to Brown 19-18 in the Northeast Water Polo Conference third place contest.

Fourteen players logged five-goal efforts. Thirty four-goal performances and 63 hat tricks also highlighted the weekend’s scoring.
