Caeleb Dressel Abbassa Record Olimpico 100 Farfalla 49.71

OLIMPIADI DI TOKYO 2020

L’americano Caeleb Dressel ha stabilito il record olimpico nei 100 farfalla per la seconda volta in meno di 24 ore, poco dopo che l’ungherese Kristof Milak aveva abbassato il primato.

Durante le batterie, Dressel aveva nuotato il tempo di 50.39 per eguagliare il record olimpico di Joseph Schooling.

Poi, durante la prima semifinale di stamattina, Milak, il detentore del record mondiale dei 200 farfalla, ha eliminato il record di Dressel con un tempo di 50.31. Per Milak, il tempo è solo ad un decimo dal personale di 50.18.

Tuttavia, il record di Milak non è durato a lungo perché Dressel lo ha portato sotto i 50 secondi nella seconda semifinale. Spingendo sotto il ritmo del record mondiale per tutta la gara, Dressel ha registrato un tempo di 49.71 superando il resto del campo di mezzo secondo.
