Breast/IM All-American Rachael Bradford-Feldman Makes Verbal Pledge to Louisville

It seems appropriate to begin with some Louisville Slugger-related quip, something about how the Cardinals are really hitting it out of the park this recruiting season. Louisville is clearly taking their move into the ACC very seriously and are proving it with the depth and breadth of the class they’ll be adding to the roster in 2015-16.

Saint Andrews Swimming’s Rachael Bradford-Feldman is the sixth commit in a very strong future class of 2019 that already includes Grace Long, Sophie Cattermole, Clara Baggett, Emily Moser, and Mallory Comerford.

The latest future Cardinal is a national-level breaststroker and IMer. Her top times include:

200y IM: 2:00.75               200m IM: 2:20.00
400y IM: 4:19.92               400m IM: 4:56.45
100y breast: 1:03.77        100m breast: 1:13.06
200y breast: 2:15.77        200m breast: 2:36.69

Swimming for Saint Andrews School in the 2013 Florida High School Championship Class 1A, Bradford-Feldman finished second (to current Michigan freshman Clara Smiddy) in the 200 IM and second (to current Michigan freshman Emily Kopas) in the 100 breast, achieving All-American auto cuts in both events.

Bradford-Feldman is a solid addition to the Cardinals’ roster. Her 2:00 200 IM is already B-final-worthy in the ACC. Both her breaststroke times, as well as her 400 IM, would also have scored at the 2014 conference championship.
