Thomas Kremer
Tom Kremer is an multi-time NCAA All-American from Stanford University. Originally from nearby Mountain View, Calif. Kremer has earned NCAA All-America honors in each of his years at Stanford. An extremely versatile athlete, Kremer specializes in everything from freestyle, butterfly to the IM events, but at the 2015 NCAA Championships he reached his highest finish in history — a 4th place in the 200-yard IM.

High school swimming
Kremer competed for Sacred Heart in northern California prior to swimming for Stanford. There he won multiple CIF Central Coast Section Championships in the 200 free, 100 back and 100 fly, and broke the Section Record in all three events. Kremer also represented Israel at the 2011 and 2012 European Youth Championships in addition to the 2012 European Championships.

Stanford University
2012-2013
As a freshman Kremer had a dominant Pac-12 Championships, coming within the top 16 in all of his events, including a silver in the 200-yard fly and finished 6th in the 200-yard free. He was invited to the NCAA Championships, and started day one off with the 200-yard IM — he made a second swim, and finished 9th overall. On day two, Kremer swam the 200-yard free, finishing 3rd, and breaking the National Age Group Record in the event. He followed up that swim by joining his Stanford teammates on the 800-yard free relay, which finished 12th. On the last day, Kremer finished 10th in the 200-yard fly, and helped Stanford finish 5th in the 400 free relay.

2013-2014
As a sophomore Kremer once again scored in every event he competed in at the Pac-12 Championships. His times advanced him to the NCAA Championships two years in a row, but he didn’t have quite as high finishes this time around. He started off with the 200-yard IM, where he finished in just under 1:44 and finished 16th. In the 200-yard free the sophomore won the consolation heat, and was a member of Stanford’s 3rd place 800 free relay. He also took on a new place, earning a relay spot on the 400-yard medley. His third event was the 200-yard fly, where he finished 13th, and followed it up with a 16th-place finish 400 free relay.

2014-2015
Kremer returned to Stanford for his junior year, and went three-for-three qualifying once again for the NCAA Championships. On day one Kremer went a best time to qualify for the championship final in the 200-yard IM. With a strong backstroke and freestyle leg, Kremer went on to finish 4th in the event, and was touched out in the end by .09 for bronze. The second day Kremer finished within the top eight again, finishing 6th in the 200-yard free and backing up his performance by helping Stanford win bronze in the 800-free relay. On the last day of his junior year at the NCAA meet Kremer finished 5th in the 400 free relay.

2015-2016
Kremer chose to redshirt his senior season to prepare for Israel’s Olympic bid.

2015 European Short Course Championships
After his junior year in the NCAA, Kremer swam at the 2015 European Short Course Championships. He set a new National Record in the 200-meter free, going 1:45.30 breaking the 1:45.64 mark set back in 2006.
