2013-2014

Bohus quickly made his was into the record books at ASU, notching a school best time of 47.16 in the 100 yard backstroke during his freshman campaign. His impressive first season as a Sun Devil saw him on four of ASU’s relays at the Pac-12 championships.

2014-2015

Bohus underwent shoulder surgery before his sophomore season, which kept him out of competition for most of the year. He made his comeback against state rivals, Arizona, and won the 100 yard freestyle in 44.34.

2015-2016

Just before his junior season could kick off Bohus broke both of his arms in a bicycle accident and like the year season before had to sit out for the majority of the year. Also like the year before, he made an epic comeback. In his first duel meet back against Wyoming Bohus won the 100 yard freestyle and backstroke. Leading up to the Pac 12 he won 6 out of 8 races in duel meets before placing 4th in the 100 yard freestyle and backstroke at the conference meet. At the NCAA Championships Bohus swam three personal bests to finish 18th in the 100 yard backstroke, 23rd in the 100 yard freestyle and 32nd in the 50 yard freestyle.

2016-2017

With his injury’s behind him and a second Olympic Games under his belt, Bohus returned for his senior season as a Sun Devil. He was a member of ASU’s champion 4×100 yard freestyle relay at the Pac 12 Championships. He then went on to the NCAA Championships where the same relay team finished sixth to earn All-American honors. He earned honourable mentions in three other relays and the 100 yard backstroke where he finished 13th in 45.74 and 11th in the 200 yard backstroke in 1:40.19.

International Career

Bohus made his senior debut at the 2012 European Championships where he won a bronze medal in the 50 meter backstroke. That same year he made his Olympic debut in London where he finished 22nd in the 100 meter backstroke.

Four years later, Bohus won a silver and bronze at the European Championships in the 50 meter backstroke and 4×100 meter medley relay before heading out to Rio for the Olympic Games. At the Olympics he finished ninth in the 4×100 meter medley relay and 24th in the 100 meter freestyle.

At the 2017 World Championships Bohus won a bronze medal as a member of Hungary’s 4×100 meter freestyle relay. He anchored the team and recorded the fourth fastest split of all swimmers.
