2014 Asian Games

In Incheon, Fujimori advanced to the final in the 200 IM, being bested only by Kosuke Hagino in the final to earn silver.

2016 Olympic Games

In Rio, Fujimori swam the 200 IM, dropping time in each swim of the prelims, semi finals, and finals. Ultimately he touched in 4th in the final, just outside of medaling.

2018 Short Course World Championships

Fujimori earned bronze medals in the 100 IM (51.53) and 200 IM (1:52.73) in Hangzhou.
