Graciele Herrmann was born on January 1, 1992. She is from Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil.
Herrmann first swam for the Brasilian National Team at the 2011 Pan American Games where she surprisingly won the silver medal in the 50M Freestyle, and helped her team win a silver medal in the 4X100M Freestyle.
At the FINA World Championships in 2013, broke the South American record in the 4x100M Freestyle with relay members: Larissa Oliveira, Daynara de Paula, and Alessandra Marchioro. Individually, she placed 18th in the 50M Free.
In the 2014 South American Games, Herrmann won Gold in the 50M free and the 4x100M free, breaking South American Meet Records in both. Additionally, she captured a silver medal in the 100M Free.
The 2914 Pan Pacific Championships brought Herrmann three fifth place finishes: 4X100M Free, 4x100M Medley, and the 50M Free. Hermann also finished 11th in the 100M Free.
In the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada, she won a bronze medal in the 4x100m free relay, breaking the South American record with a time of 3:37.39, along withLarissa Oliveira , Etiene Medeiros and Daynara de Paula . She also finished 6th in the 100m freestyle, and 7th in the 50m free.
At the FINA World Championships 2015 , she finished 11th in the 4x100m free, along with Daynara de Paula , Larissa Oliveira and Etiene Medeiros, 21st the 50M Free, and 34th in the 100M Free.
Hermann qualified for the London Olympics in the 50M Free where she swam the preliminary heats but did not advance to the semifinals.
