Colin Eaton
Colin Eaton is a freestyle swimmer at the University of Michigan. Born Oct. 25, 1993 to parents, Dennis and Debbie, Eaton is enrolled in the College of Engineering. Originally from Gresham, Oreo., Eaton attended Corbett High School and graduated as a five-time OHSA state champion – he also was ranked nationally in the top-10 in the 50 freestyle for both his junior and senior seasons. Eaton competed for Mt. Hood Aquatics from 2010-2013, and he started swimming at the age of 10. Although he’s extremely talented in the water, Eaton applies himself in the classroom as well, graduating high school with a 4.7 weighted GPA. In high school Eaton was an AP Scholar, a member of both the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society, and he was a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American. He’s primarily a sprint freestyler, but Eaton can also put up a fight in sprint butterfly. According to collegeswimming.com’s recruiting rankings, Eaton was the no. three recruit in the state of Oregon. He holds Oregon high school state records in the 50 and 100 freestyle.

Michigan
2013-2014
As a freshman Eaton did not competed at the Big Ten Championships, but he instead focused on the Univ. of Michigan Open – he finished eighth in the 50 freestyle.

2014-2015
Eaton is currently in his sophomore season. He swam two events at the AT&T Winter National Championships – he also exhibitioned one race against Indiana, Texas and Louisville.

National Competition
Eaton was a four-year varsity letterwinner at Corbett – he qualified for and competed at the U.S. Olympic Trials in 2012, competing in the 50m freestyle. Eaton was also a Junior Nationals finalist.
