Bates College Chooses Colorado Time Systems Video Display

Bates College in Lewiston, ME has signed an agreement with Colorado Time Systems, a PlayCore company, to install a brand new 12mm SMD LED video display at the Tarbell Pool to be used for swim meets, water polo matches, and team practices.

The 12mm SMD video display will be added to the existing Colorado Time Systems timing and scoring solution at the facility and will measure approximately 2.1m x 3.8m (6.9’ x 12.5’) [h x w].  The video display will be used to show scoring information, live video, video replays, and animations.

“We chose the Colorado Time Systems video board because it made sense for us,” said Peter Casares, Head Swim Coach.  “We are running a CTS timing system with beautiful touchpads.  Also, we got 17 years out of our last Colorado scoreboard – and liked the dependability.  We are looking forward to the full color display and the different templates that we can create.”

“Bates College has been with Colorado Time Systems for a number of years,” said Mark Polansky, East Coast & Pacific NW Sales Manager.  “We are pleased that they have chosen the latest in video technology to enhance Tarbell Pool.”
