Australia Breaks Relay World Record at the Singapore World Cup – Race Video

Mixed 4×50 Medley Relay – 2013 FINA World Cup in Singapore – as reported by SwimSwam / Braden Keith

In both prelims and finals, the Australians knocked half-a-second off of the old French World Record in this mixed 200 medley relay. The group of Bobby Hurley, Christian Sprenger, Alicia Coutts, and Cate Campbell were first a 1:39.08 in the heats, and then a 1:38.02 in the finals to really dominate the cause.

The Russians, led by Vlad Morozov and Yulia Efimova, took 2nd in 1:40.84, and Brazil took 3rd in 1:41.79.
