Aussie Olympic Medalist Maddie Groves to Join Team Elite in San Diego

Australian Olympic medalist Maddie Groves is spending the next few months training with David Marsh’s SwimMAC Carolina Team Elite in the United States, Marsh confirmed on Thursday.

“Her coach Michael Bohl is a good friend and feels like it would be a good experience for her,” Marsh said. “We’re excited to learn from her and get to know her better.”

Groves will be joining Team Elite at a camp at the Chula Vista Elite Training Center in San Diego, California.

The 21-year old Groves won an Olympic silver medal in the 200 fly and as part of Australia’s 400 medley relay in Rio. She also has a bronze from the 2015 World Championships in the 400 medley relay and has 3 Commonwealth Games medals to her name as well.

Groves’ home training base is at St. Peter’s Western in Queensland.

Does Team Elite have a roster online?
I believe Lochte, Clary, Cullen Jones, Josa, Burch, and Feigen are out (at least temporarily), Coventry and AVW out of action.

Cammile Adams? Micah?

Koga and now Groves in, any other pros besides Meili?
