Arkansas State Record-Holder Hayden Harlow Commits to Penn State

Hayden Harlow, from Rogers, Arkansas, verbally committed to Penn State University for 2017-18.

Harlow swims for the Northwest Arkansas Aquatics Sharks under Coach Marcel Da Ponte, and for Bentonville High School under Coach Nick Nersesian. Recently named NICSA All American and USA Swimming Scholastic All American, Harlow holds four individual and six relay Arkansas state records.

Harlow also has been recognized as Swimmer of the Year by Arkansas Swimming for seven seasons and the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette as high school Swimmer of the Year for three years. His top SCY times are:

  • 50 free – 21.54
  • 100 breast – 56.77
  • 100 free – 46.58
  • 100 fly – 51.99
  • 200 fly – 1:52.77
  • 200 free – 1:42.41
  • 200 IM – 1:50.44
  • 200 breast – 2:03.24
  • 400 IM – 3:58.19
