Go slow? Out of the question. Once more, Emory’s Andrew Wilson has proved what an incredible talent he is in the pool, this time with huge time drop in the men’s 200 breaststroke record from prelims. The D3 NCAA record was set at 1:57.79 by Rory Buck of Whitworth in 2011.
Wilson cut more than 3 full seconds off that time to post a 1:54.68. In prelims. The next fastest athlete in finals is almost five seconds behind him. It’ll be a race for second.
