Andrew Seliskar Lowers Own NAG Record in 100 Breaststroke

Andrew Seliskar, swimming at the Northern Virginia AAA Region Championships on Saturday, has lowered his own National Age Group record in the 15-16 100 yard breaststroke. He swam a 54.09 to lower his 54.11 set last year.

What’s scary is that he still has one more round of swimming to go, with the Virginia State Championship meet yet to come.

The previous record holder before Seliskar came along was Indiana Hoosier Cody Miller in 54.38.

Seliskar swims club for NCAP, the same DC-area mega club that boasts national record holders like Janet Hu and Katie Ledecky. At this meet, though, he was representing Jefferson High School.

Only a few tenths off of Brenden Hansen’s HS record! I think numerous natl high school records will go down in the next couple weeks.
