Allie Weidinger Commits to Eastern Michigan Eagles

Fitter and Faster Swim Clinics is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Allie Weidinger has verbally committed to Eastern Michigan University as a part of the 2024 class. The flyer from Kentucky announced her commitment via Twitter:

Top SCY Times

  • 200 free – 1:58.75
  • 100 fly – 58.24
  • 200 fly – 2:05.01

Weidinger competes with the Northern Kentucky Clippers for club swimming and during the Long Course season where she qualified and competed at the Speedo Championship Series in Cleveland. Her best times in the 100/200 fly came during the 2018 NCSA Spring Junior National Championship.

She is also a 3x Kentucky High School State Championship qualifier and 5x state championship finalist with her best finishes being 6th in the 100 fly, 13th in the 200 IM as a junior and 14th in the 500 free as a sophomore.

The Eastern Michigan Eagles compete in the MAC and finished in 2nd place at the 2019 MAC Championships in Akron, Ohio. Weidinger’s best 200 fly time places her just shy of B-final at the conference meet but she will add depth to an already booming butterfly squad.
