Abby Susec Has Given Her Commitment to Ohio University

For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Abby Susec, a current high school senior from Lebanon, Ohio, has committed to swim for Division I Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Susec will graduate from Springboro High School in spring 2021 join the Bobcats’ class of 2025.

Susec is a Sectionals and Futures qualifier who swims for the Mason Manta Rays. The USA Swimming Scholastic All-American placed 2^nd in the 100 freestyle (54.21) at the 2019 Central District Sectionals – Centerville.

• 50 freestyle – 24.01
• 100 freestyle – 52.45
• 100 backstroke – 56.32
• 200 backstroke – 2:03.99

At the 2020 Mid-American Conference Championships with the Bobcats, Susec would have placed 15^th in the 200 backstroke with her current best time of 2:03.99.

At the MAC Championships with head coach Mason Norman, the team placed 7^th overall. The team was given CSCAA All-American statues and three team members were named to the CSCAA Scholar All-American team.
