2021 U.S. OLYMPIC SWIMMING TRIALS

Night 3 in Omaha saw a handful of first-time Olympic berths, including sensational swims from Regan Smith (W 100 back), Hunter Armstrong (M 100 back), Rhyan White (W 100 back), Drew Kibler (M 200 free), Andrew Seliskar (M 200 free), and Lydia Jacoby (W 100 breast). Adding his name to that list in dramatic fashion was Jake Mitchell, who time trialed the 400 free and touched in 3:45.86 to smash the FINA A cut and punch his ticket to Tokyo (provided the number of roster spots don’t exceed the limit (26 per gender).
