Sad to say for the amazing athletes and coaches who work relentlessly. However we need to pull together as a sport and nation for the good of all.

I hate to say it but if the NBA, MLS & MLB postpone as well as all the major college basketball conferences with all that revenue, no way will they allow Swimming Championships. I get it, these kids work their entire life for this moment and feel bad for all of the. Life is more important and we need to get past this.

To many leagues are rushing to judgement …better to wait until the last moment for a decision. Better strategy is simply ban anyone over 60 – that’s the age group that experiences the most adverse effects, and as one over 60, I’d be understanding about being discriminated against. Why hurt all these young athletes over something that is a threat to others, not them. And if the concern is over spread of the virus, make anyone who attends agree to self quarantine themselves for 14 days after the meet’s conclusion\ – I bet most would gladly agree to such a post meet self quarantine.
