2018 SEC CHAMPIONSHIPS

After the fourth day of prelims, the Texas A&M and Kentucky women are tied with five A final swimmers tonight, while Florida has a commanding six A final swimmers on the men’s side.

For the women, Kentucky is in position to make a big move– while they’re tied with A&M in terms of A final swimmers, they have three B finalists and two C finalists tonight. They’re currently in sixth, but they’ll catapult to at least fourth tonight. A&M, meanwhile, is comfortably in the lead.

The Florida men will open up a bigger lead tonight with all of their A final swims, while Georgia could edge ahead of 2nd place A&M. Tennessee and A&M, then, should be right behind UGA.

Note: Ups refer to swimmers in the A final, who can finish no lower than 8th barring a DQ; Mids refer to swimmers in the B final, who can finish no higher than 9th and no lower than 16th (again, barring a DQ on the low end); and Downs refer to swimmers in the C final, who can finish no higher than 17th and no lower than 24th (again, barring a DQ on the low end).

Men’s platform diving is not included in the ups/mids/downs below.
