Nation’s Capital Swim Club won the men’s and women’s team scoring (and thus, the combined team title), while Isabelle Stadden of the Aquajets and David Madej of SwimUnited took the girls’ and boys’ individual high points awards, respectively.
TEAM RACE
NCAP dominated on both the boys’ and girls’ sides of the meets– the club was the only team to score over 1,000 points on both sides. They amassed 1,229 points on the girls’ side, more than 300 points ahead of Aquajets (867.50) and Marlins of Raleigh (820), while totaling 1,159 points on the boys’ side, well ahead of Academy Bullets (753) and New Trier Aquatics (458).

HIGH POINT
On the girls’ side, Isabelle Stadden was a force to be reckoned with. She won the 100 back (51.33) and 100 IM (54.81), finished 2nd in the 50 back (24.43) and 200 back (1:52.04), and scored in a whopping eleven individual races. In total, Stadden picked up 251 points, well ahead of 2nd place Phoebe Bacon of NCAP (201). Stadden placed in A finals in at least one event of every stroke except freestyle, where she was able to still reach B finals in the 50 and 100 free.
Stadden and Bacon were the only swimmers to score over 200 points, of either gender.

For the boys, David Madej out-scored the rest with 198 points. He scored in eight separate individual races, collecting more than 20 points in every one (AKA, finishing higher than 9th in all of his races). 400 IM champion Casey Storch of Machine Aquatics was 2nd in high point with 174.50 points.

It’s not quite fair to say NCAP is “dominating” as it is MANY times bigger any other club, so there was no suspense who would finish first. The second & third places were determined in the last event (400MR). Aquajets girls finished 1st and 8th to secure the silver.
