Howell finished her freshman campaign just under a second off the MVC record held by SIU’s Kelsie Walker, which sits at 1:47.82. Walker won the B final tonight, coming in at 1:51.54.

Sydney Zupan also won the 100 back, charging back on the 2nd 50 to overtake Sarah Allegri, finishing in 54.38 to Allegri’s 54.38. Zupan’s splits were less than a second apart, coming in at 26.78 and 27.60.
