How everyone did

Day 3 was again a day for the favorites. Katie Ledecky was picked by 100% of entries to win and predictably crushed the field. The weaker favorites also came through. Sun Yang was picked by 54% in the 200 free, Kylie Masse was picked by 52% in the 100 back, and Lily King was picked by 69% in the 100 breast.

The main exception was the men’s 100 back. There the most popular pick to win, Ryan Murphy, was 3rd (no one picked him there) and only 36% had Jiayu Xu winning.

There were some upsets in the lower places Aleksandr Krasnykh was picked by only 2 people to take 3rd in the 200 free (well done IIuTa4oK and Christoob). Katie Meili, the favorite pick for 3rd, was picked by only 5% to take 2nd over Yuliya Efimova, the favorite for 2nd, who was picked by only 5% for 3rd.
