2017 NCAA DI Championships 3M Diving Prelims: Rosendahl Top Qualifier

2017 WOMEN’S NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS

This afternoon at the 2017 NCAA Women’s Championships, Olivia Rosendahl of Northwestern was the top qualifier on the women’s 3-meter with 375.25 points. Minnesota’s Yu Zhou qualified second with 371.95 points. The duo came in scoring well ahead of the competition field. The third qualifier was Maria Polyakova of UCLA with 351.75 points. Miami University (Ohio) had Pei Lin qualify fourth with 347.25.

The 3-meter should result in a major points boost for Minnesota, who is ranked 12th after last night’s results. Stanford should also get a (smaller) boost from American Olympian Kassidy Cook that no other team in the current top ten for scoring will be able to match. You can see the championship finalists for tonight below:

  1. Olivia Rosendahl, Northwestern: 375.25
  2. Yu Zhou, Minnesota: 371.95
  3. Maria Polyakova, UCLA: 351.75
