2010 Pan Pacs: Team USA Wins 8 More Golds on Day 3

Team USA won 8 out of the 10 golds on Day 3 of the competition, and another 5 silvers. Canada, thanks to Ryan Cochrane and another relay medal from the women, jumped Brazil jumped all the way into 4th place in the medal standings. South Korea’s Tae Hwan Park also picked up  his country’s first gold, in the 400, to add to his silver in the 200.

Japana had a bit of a disappointing third day in the medal counts, as they only managed 2 bronzes. Australia was also a bit disappointing on Day 3, coming away with no event victories thanks to the dominating American performance.
