18 Spaniards, Including Mireia Belmonte, to Race at Luxembourg Euro Meet

18 National-level Spanish swimmers will be travelling to Luxembourg at the end of January to compete in the 2015 Euro Meet (in long course) from January 30th-February 1st.

This will mark the first long course meet for Mireia Belmonte since winning four gold medals and breaking two World Records at the 2014 World Short Course Championships in December.

The majority of the Spanish elite class of swimmers will race in Luxembourg, with an exception being the Ortiz brothers Miguel and Bruno who are trained in the United States.

Mireia Belmonte, Melani Costa, Duane da Rocha, Judit Ignacio, Jessica Vall, Beatriz Gómez, Jimena Pérez, Merche Peris, María Vilas, Catalina Corró, Fátima Gallardo, África Zamorano, Antonio Arroyo, Miguel Durán, Alejandro García, Rafa Muñoz, Carlos Peralta y Albert Puig.

The coaching staff will include: A. del Castillo (Director de Alto Rendimiento RFEN-CAR de Sant Cugat), Fred Vergnoux (Entrenador RFEN-CAR de Sant Cugat), Bart Kizierowski (Entrenador RFEN-CAR Blume Madrid), Jordi Jou (Entrenador CN Sant Andreu), Luisa Domínguez (Entrenadora Centro FGN-Pontevedra), José Daguerre (Médico) y Raúl Moreno (Fisioterapeuta RFEN-CAR Blume Madrid).

We also have many top Brits at the Flanders swim cup.. Peaty, Jamieson, Carlin, O’Connor, Willmott, Guy, Miley etc… only Halsall and Murdoch missing.
