Anne, I only wish we could clone you and send a copy to each of the US sectional/state championships! I just wanted you to know your efforts are appreciated! Keep up the good work!
Anne Lepesant, You have become SwimSwam’s own Christiane Amanpour, down on the pool deck, risking splashes, to bring us on-the-scene interviews at all these hard-fought CIF Championship battles! The first time I ever heard of/saw Abby Weitzel and Katie McLaughlin we’re in your interviews, so now I watch them all looking out for Team USA’s new stars! Thank you! 🙂
Danjohnrob,
That is the nicest thing anyone has said to me all day 🙂 I have seen these kids grow up (into superstars, by the way) and I love watching them swim and talking to them about it afterwards. Lots of giggles, checking hair, and do-overs, but we have fun. (I’m far from the most journalistic writer on SwimSwam but I enjoy myself immensely.)
