VIDEO INTERVIEW: The busy professional life of Elizabeth Beisel

In the roughly seven months since wrapping up her storied NCAA career, Olympian Elizabeth Beisel has been everywhere. The professional swimmer took some time at the Minneapolis Grand Prix to chat with SwimSwam about her travels (including a trip to Australia for Pan Pacs and a swing through Asia with the World Cup tour), her training and wrapping up her college degree at the University of Florida.

Beisel says being a student-athlete is “one of the hardest things I’ve ever done,” and expresses her excitement to open a new chapter as a full-time swimmer.
