USOC releases first official promo video for Boston 2024 Olympic bid

The United States Olympic Committee officially selected Boston, Massachusetts as the city for the American Olympic bid in 2024, and now the USOC has released a short video hyping their selection.

You can check out the video above, courtesy of Team USA on YouTube. The video runs through former American host cities for the Olympics, stretching all the way back to St. Louis in 1904. If you watch all the way through, you’ll get a sneak peek at some classic diving footage from what looks like the Los Angeles Olympics of 1932, though that’s the closest any highlight footage gets to the pool.

The International Olympic Committee is accepting bids for much of this year, and will officially select a host city in 2017.
