Kelsi Worrell who has been lighting it up at this meet with some very fast swims set herself up perfectly for another, taking the top seed in the 100 freestyle with a time of 48.86. The Louisville swimmer broke the pool record in the process with that time, and wasn’t that far off her Louisville team record of 48.48.
Tanja Kylliainen With Extremely Fast 400 IM On Day Two Finals of Louisville Cardinal Invite
Tanja Kylliainen won the first individual event, the women’s 400 IM, with a swift 4:07.88. She was well ahead of her competition in prelims and proved to do the same tonight as her teammate Abby Chin finished second just over seven seconds behind in 4:15.03. That time for Kyllainen beat her previous season best of 4:10.89.
