JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking to hire a coach who would lead our age group program. The coach will serve as lead coach for our Platinum Squad (11-14) and either assist with the Senior squad OR lead our Bronze Squad (9-11). Practices are held at Zionsville Community High School year round and Azionaqua Swim Club in the summer.
ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS
1. Abide by the American Swimming Coaches Association Code of Ethics, the USA Swimming Code of Conduct, and Zionsville SC policies and procedures.
2. Plan, prepare, and conduct team practices in accordance with our curriculum and be supportive of the overall philosophy and direction of Zionsville SC set by our Head Coach.
3. Supervise Age Group Lead and Assistant staff members.
4. Lead communication role for all Age Group parents, coaches and athletes.
5. Prepare and submit swimmers’ meet entries and attend assigned swim meets.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE
- Coaching membership in good standing with USA swimming, (5+ years experience preferred, but not required).
- Good computer and interpersonal communication skills.
- Current ASCA Membership (level 3 or higher is preferred, but not required).
- A college degree (preferred, but not required).
- Proficient with Team Unify and Hy-tek Meet Manager
COMPENSATION
Salary based on experience and qualifications in the range of $32-36,000. Some benefits may also be available.

About Zionsville Swim Club
Zionsville SC is a Bronze Medal, Level 3 USA-Swimming Club located northwest of Indianapolis. ZSC has 250+ members ranging from Novice to Olympic Trial Qualifiers. Practices are held in the 8 lane, 25 yard Zionsville Community High School Aquatic Center as well as the 7 lane, 50m Azionaqua Swim Club pool (summer only).
