Swim Job: HRCA Ranch seeks Coach / Aquatic Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for all of the Youth and Adult Coached Aquatics and Summer Swim programs at all facilities. The Coordinator is responsible for the quality, staffing, training, and all financial issues related to the Youth and Adult Coached Aquatic programs. The Coordinator will also demonstrate initiative and creativity in existing as well as future new programs which will include outside contractor programs. The Coordinator will be involved in both on-deck coaching as well as administrative duties related to all Coached Aquatic programs. The Coordinator should be comfortable establishing the balance between the competitive and recreational aspects of all Coached Aquatics Programs.

Requirements

Must have been Head Coach of a summer or year round swim club program including management of other coaches. A minimum of four years of experience is necessary in recreation management and coaching adult and youth competitive swimming. Strong computer skills required with previous experience preferred using Team Unify and Meet Manager software. Must have prior experience providing professional customer service both in written and verbal communication to participants, parents and fellow staff members. Should have current CPR and Concussion Training. USA Swimming program certification is preferred but not required.

This is a full time position with varied hours, including early morning or late evening, as well as many weekends during the summer season.
