Ryan Lochte to star on NBC 30 Rock

Eleven-time Olympic medalist, Ryan Lochte, still fresh off his 2012 London Olympic Games performance, remains in the public eye. Next on-deck for this swim-star, a cameo on NBC’s 30 Rock, which is being captured today!

Lochte, in Manhattan, New York for Fashion Week with E! (Entertainment News channel), is taking time out to “act” in 30 Rock opposite its creator, writer and star, Tina Fey, aka Liz Lemon on the television series. After his promising “Peeing the Pool” video on Funny or Die, we can expect Lochte to hold his own and entertain, particularly in the creative hands of Tina Fey.

With Lochte’s upcoming star-turn on CWs 90210 and a reality show in the works, Lochte’s appears to be building a Hollywood career that’s close to bona fide.

While in NYC for Fashion Week, Lochte will also make several TV show appearances, and, according to NYmag.com, that includes a guest spot on Live with Kelley.

Ryan Lochte: “I know I have the cameo for 30 Rock in the morning, and after that, E! And then Live With Kelly. So I’m all over the place.”

Lochte’s appearance on 30 Rock will air next season. The TV series, now in its seventh season, begins October 4th.

Rumor has it he’s been rejected as the Bachelor…

He’s also getting far from rave reviews for his fashion correspondence gig and cameos.

IMO, he should seriously considering dropping this stuff and get back to the pool.
