H/T top @swimmerupdate on Twitter for catching the cameos.

Always finding a new creative outlet for humor, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon has put together a music video, and it’s one you might have thought you’d never see.

NBC News anchor Brian Williams raps the lyrics to Sir Mix-A-Lot’s timeless hit “Baby Got Back.” Yep, you heard that right. Brian Williams.

In some of the news highlights behind Williams at various points in the video you can actually catch a couple of swimmers who have managed to grab enough public spotlight over the past several years to sneak into the video. We’ve spotted Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte, likely from the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, respectively.

Yes, this is only tangentially related to swimming, and it’s nothing earth-shattering, but the video is just too good to not post. Check it out, look for the swimmers and enjoy the rapping. It’ll be a minute and fourteen seconds of your day well-spent.

It would be funny if it were any other network commentator than Brian Williams. This guy is one of Obama’s top media lapdogs. He doesn’t report the truth or the news and has covered up the countless scandals we have seen in recent months under this administration.

But I agree, the editor did a good job with this one.
