NC State to Host Wolfpack Speed & Power Camp December 2015

WOLFPACK SPEED&POWER CAMP: DECEMBER 19-20, 2015

ABOUT

With a total of three power packed sessions, the Wolfpack Speed & Power Camp will instruct & demonstrate the proper sprint technique, stroke mechanics, starts, turns, and relay handoffs for sprinters. Also includes a specialized introduction to power training. The camp is open to any and all entrants ages 13 and over as well as coaches.

 

CAMP FOCUS

Starts – How to explode and carry speed through the breakout

Turns – How to spin fast, explode off the wall, and power underwaters

Drills & Tech – Specific Technical Drills and Strength Drills to enhance Speed Development

Power Training – Using toys as tools

 

GENERAL SCHEDULE

Saturday-

1:00pm Arrival & Check-In

1:30pm Technique and & Drills

3:00pm Technical Discussion with Hydration/Nutrition Break + Q&A

3:30 pm Power Session #1

5:00 pm Introduction to Dryland for Sprinters, Flexibility, Warmdown

6:00 pm Conclusion of Day 1

Sunday-

9:00am Arrival

9:30am Technique & Drills

10:00am Power Session #2

12:00pm Technical Discussion, Lunch, Q&A

1:00pm Power Session #3 – Starts & Turns

3:30pm Dryland & Flexibility

4:00pm Raleigh Rage Shootout

5:00pm Conclusion of Day 2

*Dinner will be provided on Saturday evening, as well as lunch on Sunday.

*Coaches Social on Saturday evening TBA

 

PRICING

$225 for Athletes & $150 for Coaches. Discounts: If 5 or more from same club sign up

cost is $175 per athlete.

*Lodging is not included in Camp Fees, a listing of nearby Hotels will be included on website
