The women’s 50 freestyle was the highlight of day two of the Amsterdam Swim Cup.

The race saw three women who won medals at the World Short Course Championships in Doha fight for the gold. Ranomi Kromowidjojo won the event in a time of 24.33, a time that she has only beat twice since posting a lifetime best of 24.05 at the London Olympics.
