Jessicah Schipper Inducted into Swimming Queensland Hall of Fame

Australian butterflier Jessica Schipper, having formally announced her retirement in September, is now beginning to rack up the post-career honors that she duly earned in an illustrious career.

The latest is induction into the Swimming Queensland Hall of Fame, which is likely a stepping-stone into the International Swimming Hall of Fame down the road.

Schipper was formally inducted during the Queensland State Championships in December for a career that include 9 World Championships, World Record in both the 200 fly in long course and 100 fly in long course, and four Olympic medals (two relay golds, two individual bronzes).

Schipper hasn’t raced seriously since giving birth to her first child in early 2013.
