Florida state champ Dani Gordon to swim for Western Kentucky

Florida class 3A state breaststroking champ Dani Gordon will compete for the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in college.

Gordon won the 100 breaststroke at the Florida High School Class 3A State Championship meet last November, and tweeted just a week later that she’d verbally committed to WKU.

Gordon swims for Loggerhead Aquatics and Creekside High School.

Gordon’s Top Times

  • 100 breast: 1:03.88
  • 200 breast: 2:17.76
  • 200 IM: 2:10.03

Gordon’s lifetime-bests would have put her just outside the top 5 on WKU’s squad in the 100 breast last year as well as 3rd on the team in the 200. The team’s top breaststroker last season, Claire Conlon, will graduate this spring.
