Roland Schoeman is THE MAN, a 4-time Olympian and one part of the celebrated 4×100 freetyle relay that won 2004 Athens Olympic gold. Roland also holds the current world record in the short-course 50 meters freestyle, with a time of 20.30 seconds.

    the longevity of Schoeman’s career is simply amazing. i was rooting for him to medal in the 50 free, but nevertheless he is one of the South African greats.
