Emory & Henry Swimming Announce Schedule Changes

The Emory & Henry College Women’s Swimming Team has made some alterations to its schedule, Head Coach Dave Griffore announced Friday. The Wasps have cancelled one meet and moved another to a different date.

Emory & Henry was originally scheduled to travel to Barbourville, Kentucky on Saturday, January 18 for a double-dual with Union (Ky.) College and Berea College. This meet has been cancelled and will not be made up.

Instead, the Wasps will travel to Milligan College, Tenn. on the 18th for a double-dual with the Buffaloes and the Vikings of Berry College. The first event will begin at noon. E&H was originally scheduled to take on Milligan on Saturday, January 11.

Last month, the Wasps received their first-ever national ranking by college swimming. E&H was tabbed as the No. 38 team in the country after winning the Union College Winter Invitational, held on the first weekend of December.
