Craig Benson Re-Breaks Scottish Record in Finals at BUCS Championships

Craig Benson has re-broken his own Scottish National Record in the 50 short course meters breaststroke, swimming a 26.84 in finals on Saturday.

Swimming in finals at Britain’s short course collegiate championship meet, Benson knocked two-tenths from his own 27.06 from prelims done earlier in the day.

The time also jumps Benson to 5th-place on the all-time British Rankings.

The swim led Benson’s Stirling team to a second-place finish overall at the meet.

A full recap of the meet will be available shortly.
